County Industrial Development Agency (Zone Partner)
The CCIDA is the principal force attracting new business and
industry to the area. Among its more traditional services, CCIDA helps
businesses secure financial assistance, provides business advocacy services
and develops both infrastructure and industrial parks.
Buffalo-Niagara Enterprise
Buffalo Niagara Enterprise (BNE) is the new business gateway
to Western New York State and Ontario's Niagara Peninsula. Services
provided include marketing and public relations, business attraction,
professional consultation of business locations, and regional collaboration.

The Southern Tier West Regional Planning & Development
Board's mission is to help coordinate and enhance planning and development
activities in Allegany, Cattaraugus, and Chautauqua Counties, so as to promote
the social, physical, and economic development of these counties.

Economic Development Council
The purpose of NYSEDC is to
promote the economic development of the state and its communities, encourage
sound practices in the conduct of regional and statewide development programs,
and to develop education programs that enhance the professional development
skills of NYSEDC members. Members include the leadership of Industrial
Development Agencies, Local Development Corporations, commercial and
investment banks, underwriters, bond counsels, utilities, chambers of commerce
and private corporations.

Works
Offers easy access to career development and employment
services for all job seekers and also offers coordinated referrals and access
to over 50 certified training programs throughout Chautauqua County and
surrounding areas.
Jamestown Board of Public Utilities
Provides the City of Jamestown electric, water, district heat,
wastewater and solid waste services. Offers special economic development
rates to be used to encourage potential and existing customers to expand their
businesses in the Jamestown area.
Jamestown Community College/Small Development Center
The NYS Small Business Development
Center, administered by the State University of New York, provides management
and technical assistance to any existing small business firm or individual
considering starting a small business in New York State. The SBDC program is
sponsored by local counties, New York State, the State University of New York
and the U.S. Small Business Administration.
Small
Business Technology Investment Fund
SBTIF provides early-stage high-tech companies
throughout New York State with a source of venture capital financing.
The Fund makes early stage equity and debt investments in companies that have
developed new innovative technology products or services that provide
significant competitive advantage, and possess a strong intellectual property
position. The Fund has previously invested in software, biotechnology,
electronics, optics, telecommunications, and materials science; geographic
areas which are typically underserved by venture capitalists.

The Center for Industrial Effectiveness
